Bio

Barbara Barnhart is a past recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.  She is currently working on research that looks at the use of counterargumentation in high school science classrooms.  She also is overseeing the development of a backpack science program for kindergarten students at a local elementary school, where the students would sign out a backpack that contains all materials and directions to perform a science exploration at home with their parent(s).
