Mortimer Brewster is torn--should he marry the woman he loves, because he might be crazy like his family: his two maiden aunts who turn out to be serial killers, his brother who thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt (and who has been burying the aunts victims in the basement, thinking they are yellow fever victims), and the return of another psychotic brother who has returned to hide out in the Brewster home.
