Music:

Come sing! The Pitt-Greensburg Chorale

Open to all in the university Community, the Chorale is Pitt-Greensburg’s major choral ensemble. It performs two to three times a semester, at the university in other locales around Westmoreland County, and has toured to Philadelphia and New York City. In the past few years, Chorale has featured works such as Orff Carmina Burana with the Westmoreland Symphony, Handel Messiah, Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio, Fauré Requiem, Ešenvalds Stars, David Dickau If Music Be the Food of Love, premieres of new music by composers Tristan Frampton, Peter Fischer, Dan Forrest, and of new works by student composers.

This year, after a year of singing far apart, Chorale returns together to its stage in Campana Chapel, and welcomes back audiences of its friends, family, and community.

In advance of our first rehearsal on Monday, 8/30 at 11:15am, I would like to meet all of our newest singers and hear your voices. This will be the easiest audition you've ever done: we'll check your range, see how you match pitch, and then welcome you to the chorus!

Please choose one audition time for either Thursday 8/26, Friday, 8/27, or Monday, 8/30. Just one time on one day, you don't have to come three times!! Then, come to your audition in Campana Chapel.
