Sam Kuhn tabbed as Bobcat Player of the Week
Men’s soccer’s Sam Kuhn has been named the Student-Athlete
Advisory Committee (SAAC) Bobcat Player of the Week for his efforts ending on October, 24, 2011.
Kuhn scored a goal in dished out an assist in a tough 0-2 week for the men’s soccer team, who dropped two, one goal games. In a 3-2 loss to La Roche College, Kuhn assisted on the Bobcats first goal of the game and then tied the game early in the second half, when he let a hard lining shot rip from outside the 18 that left the La Roche keeper with no chance.
The Bobcat of the week award is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. The Pitt-Greensburg (SAAC) nominates four student-athletes every week and allows the UPG students to vote for their choice for Player of the week via facebook.
