The men's tennis program plays all their home matches and practices at the beautiful Greensburg Racquet Club facility.
Coaches
Head Coach Glenn Smith

Glenn Smith enters his first season as the head tennis coach for both the men’s and women’s teams at Pitt-Greensburg in the 2011 season.
Smith is an experienced high school tennis coach, Volunteer NCAA Assistant coach, as well as, for the City of Jeannette Recreation department. He was also an instructor for the Latrobe Country Club, and is a member of the USTA.
Smith is also employed at the Bentworth Area School District in addition to, an Adjunct Professor at Westmoreland County Community College.
Smith has an Associate degree in Business administration; Bachelor’s of Science in Secondary Education, two Master degrees (Education & Science) and is working on a PhD.
Asst. Coach Michael Himler

Mike Himler entered his first season as a volunteer tennis coach at Pitt-Greensburg in the 2010 season under the tutelage of Coach Hartzler.
Himler’s tennis career started way back, playing with a wooden racquet. In high school, Himler changed sports to football and track and field where he r eceived scholarships, and competed several times in the WPIAL championships at Shippensburg, Pa. After high school he continued to stay active, playing recreationally, as well as studying the mechanics for the game. Recently, Himler turned to the competitive circuit in the USTA open tournaments.
His knowledge, competiveness, and love for the game, makes Himler a valuable asset to the Pitt-Greensburg tennis program.
Himler graduated from Saint Vincent College with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
Asst. Coach Sierra Smith

Sierra Smith entered her first season as a volunteer tennis coach at Pitt-Greensburg in the 2010 season under the tutelage of Coach Hartzler.
Smith is an experienced player, a member of the USTA, and a recreational coach. Her competitiveness, in competition, and a desire to learn more about the interworking of coaching at the collegiate level, makes Smith a great assistant to the team.
Smith graduated from Seton Hill University with a Bachelor in Psychology and holds a certification in Elementary and Special Education. She is currently working towards a masters degree.
