Pitt-Greensburg's women's basketball will host its 2018 Bobcat Skill Camps in June and August for girls entering second through eighth grades this fall. Each daily session will run from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Occurring on the Bobcats' home court in Chambers Hall Gymnasium, the camp is designed to teach all players fundamental skills as well as the dynamics of teamwork and sportsmanship needed to play basketball at all levels. All campers will receive a skills workout packet, camp t-shirt, and a basketball. Please note that camp is limited to 50 campers per week, so be sure to get your registration in early!
Pitt-Greensburg basketball coaches and players will lead the clinic. An athletic trainer will be on site during each week of the camp. A concession stand with meal items will be open daily for lunch to be purchased, or campers may bring a brown-bag lunch.
Campers will be divided into groups based upon age and skill level. Attention is given each day to ball handling, shooting, defense, passing, and team play. Older/higher skilled campers will be instructed in advanced fundamentals, advanced position technique, and advanced drills and concepts.
Contests, games, and FUN are daily features!
