61 Students Inducted into Phi Sigma Eta

Sixty-one students at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg were inducted into Phi Eta Sigma, the national honor society for first-year students. This honor society encourages and rewards academic excellence among full-time first-year students who have achieved a 3.50 QPA in their first or second semesters. Kerry Holzworth, PhD, associate professor of Biology, and R. Leigh Hoffman, assistant dean of Student Services and Director of Orientation, serve as advisors for the group.

• Elizabeth Stouffer, a biological sciences major from Acme, PA. She is the daughter of Ernest and Karen Stouffer and a graduate of Connellsville Senior High School.

• Justin Himler, secondary education major from Armbrust, A. He is the son of Jim and Cheryl Himler and a graduate of Hempfield Area High School.

Belle Vernon, PA

• Stefan Bonasorte, a pre-engineering major from Belle Vernon, PA. He is a graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School.
