"Fall Ball" Tourney to Benefit Breast Cancer Awareness

The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg softball team will be hosting a “fall ball” tournament on Saturday, September 29 with proceeds from the tournament benefiting breast cancer awareness.

This event is a part of the Pitt-Greensburg softball program’s breast cancer awareness project.  The Lady Bobcats had a breast cancer awareness day April 14 when they hosted Penn State Berhend in an AMCC double header.  All proceeds from that day were donated to the breast cancer awareness foundation.

All participants and fans are encouraged to wear pink, the official color of breast cancer awareness.  Pink bracelets and other breast cancer awareness merchandise will be available for purchase.

There will be a concession stand that will be open from the opening game (8:30 AM) until the final game (5:15 PM).
