Meng (Chloe) Rowland, Ph.D., is a synthetic chemist and chemical biologist working to solve human health related issues utilizing both chemistry tools and biology tools. Her past research has focused on protein-lipid binding interactions and the DNA search mechanism of a DNA repair enzyme. As an educator, she currently teaches general chemistry and biochemistry. Dr. Rowland's specialties are medicinal chemistry; organic synthesis; chemical biology; enzymology; molecular biology. Her research interests focus on targeted drug delivery, enzymatic reactions.
