Tom Wolf, PhD, is an associate professor of computer science and mathematics and co-director of the Natural Sciences & New Technologies Academic Village. He chaired the Departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, and Engineering from 1970 to 1987and founded and directed Pitt-Greensburg's Computer Student and Administrative Services from 1970 to 1984. As computer director, he was responsible for the creation/implementation of Pitt-Greensburg's first computerized billing system. Since 2002, Dr. Wolf has been a member of the organizing committee for Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, which annually attracts from 20,000 to 34,000 people worldwide. This non-profit organization donates its earnings to science education in the host city and the Greater Pittsburgh area. He is chairman-elect of the Meetings Coordination Committee for Atlanta, 2011. Dr. Wolf's areas of interest and specialization include programming languages, systems programming, web page creation, graphics, and movie creation.
