Dr. William A. Rued received his Ph.D. in philosophy from Princeton University. He teaches Introduction to Philosophical Problems, Philosophy of Psychology, Theory of Knowledge, Philosophy of Religion, Feminist Philosophy, and Moral Philosophy and the Law. Current interests center in philosophy of mind, philosophical theology, and fundamental questions concerning values and the meaning of life. Having produced many papers on the concept of freedom and its larger implications, he is currently at work on a book exploring the interconnections among freedom, personhood, meaning, community, and hope.
