Faculty & Staff

Partnering with Career Services

The Office of Career Resources works closely with faculty to support the career development of Pitt Greensburg students.

Our staff can...

  • Serve as a speaker in a class
  • Identify relevant career-related resources
  • Provide information on employment and internship opportunities for your students
  • Identify guest presenters who can serve as speakers or panelists for programs or event
  • Provide support for internships (ask Kristen)

Access job and internship postings

Pitt-Greensburg students and alumni have access to two online job posting systems through the University.  The Greensburg campus uses CollegeCentral.com.  We welcome faculty use of the site as well.  To set up a guest account, please visit www.collegecentral.com/pitt-greensburg.  Our students also have the ability to access Handshake, the career center management system used by the Pittsburgh campus and available on the Pitt portal (www.my.pitt.edu)

Request a classroom presentation

Career Services staff provide workshops and classroom presentations on a wide range of career-related topics.  Most workshops can be adjusted to fit the length of time available.  Some sample topics include:

  • Writing an Effective Resume or Cover Letter
  • Networking
  • LinkedIn Profiles
  • Interviewing
  • Career Exploration
  • Job Search Strategies
