COVID-19 Positive or Symptomatic

Symptoms

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms (such as coughing, sore throat, fever, fatigue, difficulty breathing) should get tested to rule out a possible COVID-19 infection. People with symptoms of COVID-19, including people who are awaiting test results or have not been tested, must isolate. Read Pitt's guidance on when and how to isolate. Pitt-Greensburg students should call Health Services: 724-836-9947

Faculty and staff who are symptomatic should call MyHealth @ Work at 412-647-4949 or their health care professional to discuss options. All employees who test positive must report their positive result to MyHealth @ Work.

All University members must report their positive test result to the University, regardless of where they went for testing. Our ability to control the virus on our campus depends in part on self-reporting. You should also promptly notify your supervisor and health care provider.

Guidance for Responding to Symptomatic Individuals

If you are guiding a Pitt faculty or staff member, or student, follow these guidelines for responding to symptomatic individuals.
