People browsing Art ShowThe University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg is currently seeking submissions to its second annual art show as part of its Blue & Gold Week: Homecoming 2018 activities.

The Art Show @ Pitt-Greensburg showcases the artistic talent of those who live and work in the region, as well as those of the campus community. It is supported, in part, by Fotorecord, the show’s “Muse Sponsor.”

The exhibit will run from Pitt-Greensburg’s Founders Day (October 10) through the end of Blue & Gold Week (October 21). Artwork will be available for viewing during normal hours of operation at Millstein Library. A reception will be held October 19 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to announce the winners.

“We’re excited to be able to give our campus artists and community artists this opportunity to show off their talents,” said Julia Sefcheck, Alumni Engagement officer. “We’ve already had artists register to submit their work and look forward to a variety of artwork and photographs being submitted.”

Artwork will be accepted in the categories of painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, digital art, and graphic art. All pieces must be original and two dimensional. Three-dimensional pieces will not be accepted. All pieces should not exceed 3’ x 6’ in order to fit the display panels. Artwork should be matted and/or framed and equipped for hanging.
