Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership applications now open

Applications are now being accepted for the Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership. Pitt-Greensburg students are encouraged to review the application requirements for this well-respected scholarship program.

The Vira I. Heinz Program for Women in Global Leadership program awards a minimum of $5,000 to up to three women at Pitt Greensburg for an international summer experience as part of the comprehensive scholarship program. In addition to an international experience, awardees participate in a cohort mentorship and leadership program with other participating universities across Pennsylvania. The program includes weekend retreats and a community engagement component.

Eligibility requirements include:
- Woman undergraduate student
- Sophomore or Junior status
- 3.0 QPA or higher
- U.S. citizen
- Applicants must never have been abroad before for any reason
