YOU did it!

Your PARTICIPATION in Pitt-Greensburg's Pitt Day of Giving Campaign RAISED MORE THAN $43,000 for important campus initiatives!

This is what YOU helped Pitt-Greensburg achieve:

• This is the second consecutive year that Pitt-Greensburg placed among the top three in the School & College Donor Participation Leaderboard.
• Pitt-Greensburg secured a $10,000 bonus for its third place finish for participation.
YOU won the POWER HOUR (noon to 1 p.m. on 2/28), giving Pitt-Greensburg a $1,000 bonus.
395 gifts totaling more than $21,000 were made during the campaign!
• Pitt-Greensburg increased its participation by 203.85%.
• The $11,000 in bonus funds secured will be applied to the Technology for the Future Fund, where they will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the SIP grant—resulting in a total of $22,000 in new funding generated for the campus! Money raised through the Technology for the Future Fund is designated for an endowment that will help Pitt-Greensburg to maintain and improve the technology used in classrooms, labs, and offices.
President’s Challenge: YOU met and conquered it! More than 200 donors participated in the campaign, so President Sharon P. Smith will make a gift of $1,000 to the campus.
Bruiser’s Challenge: STUDENTS—you met and conquered it! More than 50 students made gifts during the campaign. They will have their names entered into a drawing for a special gift that Bruiser will hand deliver.

A short message from President Sharon Smith

"I am so proud and grateful; the Pitt-Greensburg community joined together as one to meet the challenge. Placing among the top three on the leaderboard for participation is one way to show how strong and agile we are. Each gift made is important and illustrates the Power of One Donor.  Thank you to the students, alumni, staff, faculty, parents, and friends of the campus who all came through to help secure the bonuses."

"Congratulations to the Office of University Relations and Institutional Advancement who led the campaign for our campus. The activities and awareness that they coordinated united us all in an alliance of giving."

A short message from Jodi Kraisinger, director of University Relations and Institutional Advancement

"In all of the Pitt Day of Giving competitions, hosted by the University of Pittsburgh, Pitt-Greensburg is competing with the other schools, colleges, and regional campuses in the Pitt system. Pitt-Greensburg’s success in placing among the top three is a testament to the support of the campus community, alumni, parents, and friends who responded to the campaign and submitted gifts to support our campus. We are grateful for this participation and support—the funds raised will go directly to benefiting students and programming across the campus."

Hail to Pitt!
