Message from President Gregerson regarding updated health guidelines

(Message posted August 6, 2021)

Dear Pitt-Greensburg campus community,

Yesterday, all University of Pittsburgh students, faculty, and staff received an email message from Chancellor Gallagher detailing changes to Pitt’s COVID-19 Standards and Guidelines. These represent our commitment to providing a safe and healthy learning environment for all members of our campus community. Please read these carefully as you prepare to return to campus for the fall 2021 semester.

As an important part of our commitment to promote a healthy living/learning/working environment, we encourage all eligible students and employees to get vaccinated against the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 disease. If you are vaccinated, please upload your information. If you have not yet been vaccinated, please consider doing so prior to returning to campus, and keep in mind that we will have vaccines available on the Pitt-Greensburg campus on Wednesday, September 1 and Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 11 am – 1 pm in the Nursing Skills Lab, McKenna Hall.

Thank you very much for your attention to these critical matters. The beginning of the fall 2021 semester is fast approaching, and we all are looking forward to a great new academic year!

Sincerely,

Robert Gregerson, PhD
President, University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
