Message from President Gregerson regarding shelter-in-place

(Message posted November 12, 2020)

Dear Pitt-Greensburg students:

I want to take a moment to once again commend you all for the steps you have taken to make our campus such a safe and healthy community. I am very proud that our students, faculty and staff have consistently done the right things to protect themselves and others, and our low incident of coronavirus infection reflects that responsible behavior.

Of course, we can’t let our guard down now. I write to remind us all that our shelter in place protocol goes into effect Thursday, November 12. This strategy is designed to extend protection to families and others we will be with after we leave campus for the winter break. Details for the shelter in place may be found here.

Thank you,

Dr. Robert Gregerson
President, University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
