Message from President Gregerson regarding voluntary vaccination status disclosure

(Message posted June 16, 2021)

Dear Pitt-Greensburg Campus Community:

COVID-19 vaccinations are safe, effective and help protect people from getting sick or severely ill with COVID-19, and might also help protect people around you. If you do not have a vaccine yet, please understand why you should get vaccinated. If you are vaccinated against COVID-19, you are eligible to win prizes, including up to $2,500 from the University of Pittsburgh!

Complete this Voluntary Disclosure Form today to be entered for a chance to win great prizes during weekly drawings starting on Wednesday, June 23. The sooner you are vaccinated, the more opportunities you have to win.

The form is very short and will take less than a minute to complete. Drawings will be held each week through August 6 and you can read more details about drawings, prizes and eligibility.

A pitt.edu login is required to verify University status. Other employees and students will not have access to your private data. The data will be aggregated to inform decision making. Individual responses will remain private.

For me personally, being vaccinated gives me real peace of mind. I feel much safer in public and am very grateful to be able to reunite with family and friends.

Thank you for sharing your vaccination status! This information is critical to decision making for the fall 2021 term at all campuses. Hail to Pitt!

Sincerely,

Dr. Robert Gregerson
President, University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg
