Pamela Ondeck, MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Management teaching accounting courses at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg. She teaches Financial Accounting, Corporate Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting 1, Intermediate Accounting 2, Advanced Accounting, Senior Project for Accounting, and supervises accounting interns. Ms. Ondeck co-chaired the committee that developed the current Accounting Program at Pitt Greensburg. Pamela is active in scheduling various student oriented activities including an annual Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, southwestern chapter, educational member/student meeting on campus, Accounting Mock Interviews, Real World Insight Business Conference, Career Night Extravaganza, and PICPA member/student meetings. She been a reviewer for numerous accounting text books; organized and supervised accounting student volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) sites for federal and state taxes; recruited internship and employment opportunities for accounting students; Other accounting activities are held throughout the year under the auspices of the Accounting Club. Over her career at Pitt Greensburg, Pam has been involved with presentations for continued professional educational credits for the accounting professional; student run volunteer income tax assistance sites for federal taxes; recruitment of internship and employment opportunities for accounting students; and has performed reviews of various accounting text books.
Prior to joining the Pitt Greensburg's Faculty, Pamela acquired industry experience in the general accounting, cost accounting, financial planning, group and consolidation accounting, international accounting and credit areas. She started her work career as an industrial marketing analyst.
