Stephen Murabito

Stephen Murabito has published short stories in such places as North American Review, Antietam Review, Sou’wester, Brooklyn Review, and Paper Street. His collection of short stories, Chasing Saint George, appeared from Star Cloud Press in 2011. He has been an NEA Fellow in Poetry, and his poems have appeared in such places as Minnesota Review, Mississippi Review, Poet Lore, and 5AM. His chapbook, A Little Dinner Music, was published by Parallel Press in 2004. The first book of his Oswego trilogy, The Oswego Fugues, came out from Star Cloud Press in 2005; the second book of the trilogy, Communion of Asiago, came out from Star Cloud Press in 2006; and the third book of the trilogy, Lowering the Body, was released by Star Cloud Press in 2009. His poems are anthologized in Encore: More of Parallel Press Poets (Parallel Press, 2006); Joyful Noise: An Anthology of American Spiritual Poetry (Autumn House Press, 2006); and Along These Rivers (Quadrant Publishing, 2008). He is also the author and editor of the composition textbook Connections, Contexts, and Possibilities (Prentice Hall, 2001).
