Pitt-Greensburg Admissions will be waiving all application fees for students who attend an official campus visit. An official campus visit is considered a weekend event sponsored by Pitt-Greensburg Admissions or a weekday visit with a tour and/or an appointment with an admissions counselor.
If you have visited Pitt-Greensburg and are applying online and are asked to pay your application fee, please select "I'll mail a check" and DO NOT mail us a check. Your application will be cross-referenced to our visit records to ensure your waiver eligibility.

- Campus tours are offered daily at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for holidays and recess periods) and are guided by a current student
- Students and their families are invited to meet individually with an Admissions Counselor after the tour to discuss the admissions process, academic programs, campus features, and have any questions answered.
- Please allow about two and a half hours for your visit
- Campus visit excuses are available upon request

Our Discovery Day event provides an in-depth look at the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg including admissions, financial aid, housing and residence life. The program includes a meeting with a professor in the academic division of your choice, financial aid, campus tours, and lunch in our dining hall. The program runs from about 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A $45 application fee waiver to Pitt-Greensburg is offered to students who have not yet applied. Please call 724-836-9880 to register.
The Power of Nursing event provides an in-depth and hands-on look at Pitt-Greensburg’s BSN program. Students will receive information about the BSN program and gain insight into the nursing profession through panel discussions and activities with Nursing Professionals. In this program, transfer students interested in the Fall 2017 term can take part in an accelerated application process. Applications will be reviewed that day. After paying the tuition deposit, admitted students schedule their courses for the upcoming semester. This program is available for transfer students only. A $45 application fee waiver to Pitt-Greensburg is offered for students who attend, and be sure to bring all official transcripts and test scores needed for application review. Only students who have been admitted to the university are invited to Admitted Student Day. At our information fair, you will be able to speak with representatives from housing, financial aid, academic advising, athletics and safety and security. Faculty presentations are also available. You will have the opportunity to pay the tuition deposit. Deposited students can then register in advance for S.O.A.R. (summer orientation) and will get advances housing application access.
