Housing

Welcome to Housing at Pitt-Greensburg!

On behalf of the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg and the Housing and Residence Life staff, welcome to our Web site! We are delighted that you are interested in making Pitt-Greensburg's residence halls your home away from home.

Living in the residence halls allows students the opportunity to meet a diverse group of people, establish lifelong friendships, and participate in many fun and educational campus events—not to mention the added convenience of living on campus. In fact, studies have shown that students who live on campus make the transition to college better, and perform better academically, than commuter students. Students living on campus tend to be more involved in the campus community and less likely to transfer, to express greater satisfaction with their undergrad experiences, and to earn higher GPAs than students living off-campus.

As you navigate this site, you will find a lot information—from hall descriptions to what to bring to campus, to how to apply for housing. Whether you prefer a more-traditional style of residence hall or the modern-apartment style, there are a variety of living options to choose from at Pitt-Greensburg, and we encourage you to explore all of the halls. If you can't find the information you need or if you have questions, please contact our office at 724-836-7869 or upglivin@pitt.edu.

Again, welcome! We hope you feel at home!
