Cassell Hall Hours

The Cassell Hall Computer Center (FACH 113) is open:

  • Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 11pm
  • Friday 7:30am - 5pm
  • Saturday 8:30am - 5pm
  • Sunday 5pm - 11pm

(Please note: summer semester hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm in FACH 210.)

Student Computer Services

Pitt students can get free software from the software download site, including:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Windows 8 Professional
  • Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
  • Symantec Endpoint
  • LoJack
  • Microsoft Lync
  • Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2012

The technicians on campus can help troubleshoot your desktop, laptop, smart phone, tablet, etc. This includes repairs and connecting to the campus network, and there is no charge for these services for current students.

The residence halls have wireless internet access, but students can also request a wired network port be activated in their room or apartment.

Wireless Network

Pitt-Greensburg has wireless access points in most buildings. The wireless network on campus continues to grow bringing more coverage and better performance.
