The Power of One Visit

ONE visit is all it takes to determine that Pitt-Greensburg is the right fit for you. We offer virtual visits daily, an online virtual tour, evening information sessions, and many weekend events throughout the year. You can also meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor who can answer any questions you have about Pitt-Greensburg and the application process. We encourage you to check us out!

Launch Experience

Visits Available

On-Campus Walking Tours | Weekdays at 10 AM and 1 PM

Take a one-hour walking tour with a Pitt-Greensburg student around campus. You'll get an overview of residence halls, academic buildings, and recreational areas. Immediately following the tour, a counselor will discuss the admissions process, academic programs, campus features, and answer questions.

Admissions Information Session | Select Wednesdays & Saturdays

Join us on select Wednesdays and Saturdays in Campana Chapel for an admissions information session and a walking-campus tour. During this session, you will learn more about the application process, campus life, academic programs, and the criteria for applying. Questions are always encouraged! This event is for prospective students and their families in the application stage of the admissions process.

Transfer Student Instant Decision Day | October 26, November 22 & December 19

You're invited to our Transfer Student Instant Decision Day. Meet with an admissions counselor, fill out your application, and receive an immediate admissions decision. It's free to apply at this event! If you are admitted into Pitt-Greensburg and decide to accept your offer of admission, your $100 deposit will be waived. You can then meet with an Academic Advisor. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Note: This event will be held at Millstein Library (in the main hallway) from 3-7 PM. Please make sure to bring your high school and/or college transcripts.

Preview Pitt Open House | October 8 & November 19

Join us for an Open House in Chambers Hall. Hear from our admissions team about the admissions process, meet with faculty to learn more about academic programs, and end with a student-led tour of our beautiful campus. It's the perfect way to preview Pitt-Greensburg's community!

Self-Serve Drive-Thru Campus Tour

Take a drive-thru tour of campus at your own convenience! You'll have the opportunity to get a feel of what campus is like at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg. Pre-registration is required. 

Instructions: Start at the main entrance of the Pitt-Greensburg campus. Take the self-guided tour by following along with our admissions video.

ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE: Beginning Monday, August 1, contractors will begin installing the sewer line under the south roadway near the baseball field. This route around campus will be CLOSED for a minimum of 2 weeks until the roadway is replaced and ready for traffic. Road closure barricades will be in place leading to the baseball field from both directions and this road will only be accessible to construction vehicles. All traffic must use the Finoli and Lynch Drive access points into, out of, and around campus.

Virtual Visit with a Counselor

Daily virtual visits are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, and Monday through Thursday from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM.  At a daily virtual visit you will be instructed to take a virtual tour of our campus (accessible here), and then be able to schedule an online one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor directly following your virtual tour by emailing  The Zoom virtual link will be provided to you once registered for this visit.

Major/Program 1-on-1 Virtual Meetings 

We encourage you to schedule a virtual meeting or a phone conversation with a faculty member (related to your program) and discuss your major of interest. In this meeting, you can meet your future professor, ask questions about the program, learn about your major, and discuss the benefits of studying this major at Pitt-Greensburg. To schedule a meeting with a professor in your major, please email
