Students

Student Address

Use the following sample format when mailing to students on campus:

Your Student Name

150 Finoli Drive, Mailroom

Greensburg, PA 15601

Ordering food ordelivery? Don't use this address. Food deliver apps need a building specific address. See Food Delivery below.

Student Mailboxes

Residential students who would like to have a mailbox can submit a request to have one assigned at any time. Once the request is processed, students will be notified of their mailbox number and can pick up their key at the Mail Services package window. There is no cost for a campus mailbox. Residents can return their mailbox key to the mailroom or with their room key when they move out.

Request a mailbox »

*You do not need to have a mailbox in order to receive mail or packages. This is completely optional.  If a student who has not signed up for a mailbox receives any type of mail, regardless of size, they will receive an email indicating that they must pick up their mail during the Mail Center’s posted hours of operation. There will be no mail delivery to the residence halls.

Lost Keys

Students will be charged $15.00 for a replacement key should their original mailbox key be lost. Payment can be made at the Business office (Credit/Debit cards only).

Student Packages

Mail Services uses a package tracking system that will send a notification to the recipient when the package is scanned. Students expecting packages should watch their Pitt email account for the notification that their package is ready for pick-up.

NOTE: Just because your tracking app says a package has arrived in Greensburg does not mean your package is ready to pick up at Mail Services. USPS delivers in the morning around 9am and UPS/FedEx deliver around noon Monday through Friday.

Overnight or Expedited Shipping

Students expecting packages with overnight or other expedited shipping should be aware that Mail Services is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and University holidays.  Packages will not be delivered to campus on those days.

Food Delivery

Mail Services does not accept food or grocery deliveries, so don't use mailroom address. Drivers from DoorDash, Instacart, and similar apps need a building-specific address. Find the building below and use the listed address when ordering food or groceries.

Drivers can't get into the residence halls, so the resident needs to meet them at the building entrance. Residents should keep their phone on, watch for a call or text, and head down as soon as the driver arrives. Drivers don't wait long.

If someone else is ordering for you (like a parent), make sure you're listed as the delivery contact in the app, not them. The driver needs to reach whoever is actually meeting them at the door.
