Humanities Day FAQ

Pitt-Greensburg Humanities Day - May 7, 2016

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can a student participate in more than one category, such as Fine Art and Foreign Language?

A: A student can participate in two areas if one is a performing area and the other is not. For example, Fine Art and Foreign Language would be fine; Theatre and Foreign Language would not (since scheduling both competition performances may create logistical problems).

Q: May a student enter the writing contest without attending Humanities Day at Pitt-Greensburg?

A: A student may enter the writing or film contest without planning to attend, but if they are notified of winning beforehand, they should attend to receive their award and be recognized. (For non-attending winners, prizes will be mailed.)

Q: Must a student register online if he/she is not attending?

A: Everyone should register, but may put "May not attend" in the "Is there anything else we should know?" area, even if the student does not plan to attend the day.
