Franklin Wilson, PhD, is a Faculty Affiliate with the Center For Applied Research (CFAR). He first came to Pitt-Greensburg in 1998 as a Visiting Instructor of Administration of Justice.  Over the years Dr. Wilson has been actively involved in the shaping of the Criminal Justice Major and has taught a wide variety of Criminal Justice and cross-listed Sociology courses. His current teaching schedule includes the policy oriented courses, Drugs and Society (CJ/SOC 0145) and Medical Sociology (SOC 0477), as well as Social Theory (SOC 0150), Introduction to Sociology (SOC 0010), and Social Movements (SOC 0352).  Dr. Wilson has been actively involved with the local criminal justice community, currently serving as a member of the Westmoreland County Criminal Justice Advisory Board and in multiple collaborative projects with the Blackburn Center Against Domestic and Sexual Violence.
