Presidential Ambassadors

Presidential Ambassadors

Presidential Ambassadors, recognized by their signature blue blazers bearing the University seal, represent the Office of the President at important campus events and are the “go-to” students when the President is looking for student input or representation.

At all times, Ambassadors are expected to reflect the highest standards of courtesy, neatness, and sensitivity, knowing that visitors will judge the campus and other Pitt-Greensburg students by their conduct. Ambassadors are knowledgeable about the campus and reliable in carrying out their assignments.

The Pitt-Greensburg Presidential Ambassadors organization was created in 1998. The purpose of the organization is to honor outstanding students by making them public representatives of the President and the campus. Students must be recommended, have a 3.25 GPA, and then be selected by a committee appointed by the President. Over the years, Presidential Ambassadors have served with great distinction and earned numerous compliments from visitors to Pitt-Greensburg.
