Save the date for the 25th Annual Children's Literature Conference: Friday May 7, 2021

The Pitt-Greensburg Children's Literature Conference serves educators and librarians in the Western Pennsylvania community and beyond. Attendees to the conference learn about the various aspects of children's literature and get an opportunity to interact with their peers.

The one-day conference offers presentations by nationally known children's authors, informative breakout sessions, a continental breakfast, a hot buffet lunch, and a book signing.

Previous speakers at our event have included: Louis Sachar, Lois Lowry, Steven Kellogg, Russell Freedman, Laurie Halse Anderson, Jerry Spinelli, Patricia MacLachlan, Jack Gantos, Jay Asher, Suzanne Bloom, and many others.

Children's Literature Scholarship

We want to share our love of children’s literature with as many librarians and educators as possible.

Every year travel funds and allocations to attend conferences continue to dwindle. With this in mind, we have decided to offer a scholarship fund for those that want to attend our conference but are unable to get reimbursed from their employer.
