Sharon Flake pictureSharon G. Flake’s latest novel, The Life I’m In, is a 2021 finalist for one of the most prestigious honors in literature, the Kirkus Prize.  It has also been named a top ten book of the year by ALA and Kirkus, and is considered one of the most anticipated sequels of the decade.

The Life I’m In is the sister novel to Flake’s groundbreaking book, The Skin I’m In, which brought a bold dimension to literature for young readers.   Now considered a modern classic, The Skin I’m In has sold almost two million copies worldwide and has been translated into numerous languages, most recently Italian.
