Nature and sustainability expert Lars Spritz to visit Pitt-Greensburg Food Writing Class

Lars Spritz photoLars Spritz, founder of Iron City Outfitters and expert on foraging and off-grid living, will visit Pitt-Greensburg’s Food Writing class on Tuesday, February 4, to discuss wild teas, herbs and more. Spritz's presentation to the class, which runs from 10 a.m. until 11:15 a.m. in Village Hall 101, is open that day to anyone interested in learning more about sustainable living.

A Marine veteran and award-winning artist, Spritz will bring tea samples and discuss the health benefits of herbal medicine and natural living.

Spritz's visit is made possible through funds from the Office of Academic Affairs and the Creative & Professional Writing Program at Pitt-Greensburg.
