Shujiang Lu, PhD

Shujiang Lu, PhD, teaches English composition, Women and Literature, Literature of Minority Women, Asian American Film and Literature, and World Literature in English. Lu has published on Ezra Pound, Composition Studies, and Contemporary American / World Literature. Her articles have appeared in The English Record, Composition Forum, Paideum, the CAALS volume series, and Critical Insights. Lu’s other publications include the translation of the novel The Color Purple and a book of memoir When Huai Flowers Bloom. Dr. Lu received the Pitt-Greensburg Distinguished Teaching Award in 2006 and was nominated for the 2008 Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Award.
